About Me

When I was 9, we had my TV repaired and it cost $135-which seems liked a fortune at 9 yrs old.  I thought that day I could get rich by fixing and repairing electronics if only I could learn how to do it

I was 11 years old in this picture. It’s hard to believe but it seems like yesterday.  I had a passion for electronics and was fascinated with technology, so I started studying electronics.  At 11 years old, I could tell you the definition of a resistor and the formula for a voltage divider.

My uncle and I started repairing old jukeboxes like the one pictured here. This is what started my thrill and desire to learn electronics.

I started my own business repairing VCRs and audio equipment at the age of 14 called Bluff Electronics.   I couldn't do TVs because my shop was not so big. I ran my business until I was 23 years old when I decided to go back to college to get a better understanding of Electronic theory and to earn a degree in electronic engineering.  I worked at Bjorn's Audio & Video as the Head Audio Technician and developed a great skill of troubleshooting to repair to component level.

After receiving my associate degree in Electronic Engineering and doing so well in college, I decided to go back for a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and moved to Florida.

Once I completed my bachelor's degree, I was home sick and had no family in Florida, so I returned to Texas to start my career.  The Site Manager for LB & B from NASCC knew me from before I had left to go to Florida.  He knew I was looking for work and that I was a damn good technician and offered me a job as a Flight Simulator Technician.

I settled down and had three amazing kids and wonderful woman that has been by my side for over twelve years.  We now live in Dallas along with my stepson and grandmother (who raised me and my brother) making us a family of 7 and couldn't be happier. Now it's time to walk down the path of life towards the future. It's been great so far. I am at the top of my game and have been living the dream ever since. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me!
